1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the RoomMate by Gharvilla.com mobile application or website ("RoomMate", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account and use the RoomMate platform.
• You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and keep your profile updated.
• Each user is allowed one primary account verified with a valid mobile phone number.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Code of Conduct & Platform Rules

RoomMate is built on trust, respect, and safety. All users must adhere to the following rules:

• Property Owners / Hosts: You warrant that you have the legal right to list and rent the property. Listings must have accurate photos, correct pricing, and true amenity disclosures. Misleading or ghost listings are strictly prohibited.
• Roommate Seekers: You agree to communicate honestly regarding your budget, move-in timelines, and lifestyle habits.
• Zero Tolerance Policy: Any harassment, hate speech, discrimination (based on religion, caste, gender, or nationality), fraud, vulgarity, or unauthorized commercial solicitation will result in immediate account suspension and permanent blacklisting.

4. Credits & Virtual Coin Economy

• RoomMate features a virtual credit system used to unlock direct contact numbers of verified hosts and seekers.
• Credits can be earned through completing in-app tasks or granted via promotional bonuses.
• Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and hold no real-world monetary cash redemption value.

5. Video Reels & Content Submissions

When you upload property videos, room tours, or video introductions to the Reels feed:

• You grant RoomMate a non-exclusive license to host, display, and stream the media to verified users on the platform.
• You confirm that you own all rights to the uploaded content and that it does not infringe on any third-party privacy or copyright.
• RoomMate reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove any video content that violates platform standards.

6. Services Marketplace & Third-Party Bookings

RoomMate facilitates discovery for value-added services (e.g., Packers & Movers, Room Deep Cleaning, Short Stay Accommodations). While we strive to onboard verified service partners, RoomMate is a facilitator and is not directly liable for independent third-party vendor performance.

7. Limitation of Liability & Verification Disclaimer

RoomMate is an online discovery and matchmaking platform. While we enforce phone OTP verification, strength checks, and community reporting:

• Users are strictly advised to visit properties in person and verify roommate backgrounds and rental agreements before transferring money or security deposits.
• RoomMate by Gharvilla.com shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental disputes, financial losses, property damages, or personal conflicts arising between users.

8. Account Deletion & Termination

Users may request complete account and data deletion at any time via https://bytscop.sikarproperty.com/delete-account. We also reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate any user account without prior notice if we detect fraudulent activity or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur / Sikar, Rajasthan, India.
